I just can’t imagine how this day is so boring! It’s 4:56pm (Oct 18 ‘04) and I have not really accomplished any business-related work. I’m getting tired. Old maybe…

I started my day at around 10am - wife woke me up with the usual - “It’s time to wake up…” I didn’t really wanted to wake up but I have no choice. I have to work to keep my family alive. That’s what a father does and that’s what I am going to do. Again, I checked my tasks - finishing touches on two projects (Inteco and Funtastic), some modifications for LabPro, a few more changes requested by Mr. Peter Sleeckx, etc, etc, etc… I started to feel that same overwhelming sensation that I use to have each time I check my tasks. But I have to finish them.

Logged on to my newly polished PC (Installed Xandros Linux) but I made some mods to the operating system so it won’t start. Fiddled around with the installed packages and things just got worse. Decided to take some rest before I finally decided to re-install the entire stuff and just be careful next time not to tinker too much with the operating system…

Now, it’s 5:04pm (started this note at 4:56pm remember?), and as you may guess, I’ve got my system working. Once more updating Xandros - but this time with a lot of care…. Updated Apache and installed PHP and MySQL using XandrosNetworks - one nifty application that works great when I need to search for updates or install new apps. Also, I downloaded Bluefish and installed it. Ahhhhh, back to work - finally.

Just discovered a few more tools included with the Xandros Package - a task sheduler, a calendar and events manager, a sticky note (I’m typing this right now in the sticky note stuff - nice) and some more - all of which will hopefully enhance my productivity.

By the way, I asked my brother Simple to buy me a new mouse and he got me one for only P120. Thanks Simple. Now, I literally feel a lot less pressure when using my PC. Nice mouse!
