Problems with Unionbank

Ahhhhhhh!!!!  I have an EON account with Unionbank and this
account comes with a VISA Electron Debit Card.  My card's expiry
date is on March 2005 and so I'm confident that renewal will be made by
then.  But…

All of a sudden, I logged on to their online banking system and found
out that I can no longer login.  I called them and I was told that
such problems require a PIN reset.  And so I obliged.  The
next day they called me that they can't make a PIN reset because my
card was already expired!

And so I asked, shouldn't it expire on March 2005?  It's only
February!  Then I was told that EON Cards expire one month
before.  Well then, if that's their policy, that's fine BUT they
should have notified me FIRST.  I have all my contact info with
them and they didn't even bother do notify me?  Geez!!!  And
so now, though my bank account and other banking services "appear" to
be fine, I can't still access their online banking system which is very
crucial for me.

What a service!  I'm staying with them because thus far, they
provide the best deal - but services, hmmmmm, I can't really tell.

    hello

    just got my eon card. my question is do you have to activate the card yourself thru atm or you have to wait for their main office to review your submitted docs
    to activate your card?

    hi michael,

    i had mine activated after a few days - i think two or three days can’t remember exactly. i don’t remember having to activate it via an ATM machine. However, their procedures may have changed so it’s better asking them instead.

    ako din naasar na acct not found naman ako then naayos after 2 weeks after non invalid pin na ko. then wait na naman 48 hrs to reset. 24hrs na nakakraan.

    me too. naasar na ko lahat ng transactions ko delayed, simula pag-aaply ng card. pagdedeposit, pagaactivate at pag reset ng pin….
