Longing for that island get-away

Last Monday, a friend of mind together with his wife and his in-laws travelled to Thailand and though his in-laws had to pay for themselves, my friend and his wife are travelling for free. This made me think of the idea of travelling to some island get-away on a Caribbean vacation, to some spot in the world where I can just rest and leave all my worries behind.

To gather information, I went over to warmislands.com and browsed their website reading articles along the way. They do provide good information regarding the different tropical vacation spots such as the Bahamas, Bermuda, and the Caribbean. The site also offers valuable information on cruising, cruising lines and even the food. They even have a members forum which I think is a must join if you’re planning (or hoping) to have that tropical beach vacation of yours.

Ok, now I think it’s about time for me to think of means and ways to raise the money that I will need to make this dream come true. My plan is to travel together with my family - wife and 2 (soon to be 3) kids - so we can all enjoy the soon to be wonderful moment together. It’s not gonna be cheap but it sure is gonna be worthwhile since it will be a moment of bonding and refreshing.

So what destinations are in my mind? A trip to Jamaica would be nice. Oh how I love to hear those Jamaican music in the air being sung by original Jamaicans on original Jamaican ground. What about the Bahamas? Or maybe the Bermuda. Hey, Bermuda wouldn’t be bad. I think it would be interesting especially with all the stories of missing ships in the Bermuda triangle.

Well, oh well. I think in the end it all matters to when we will have the time and money to make this dream come true.
