Liars!

I do lie though seldom but I admit I would be found guilty when asked if I ever lied in my entire life? Geez, entire life? That would like at least a thousand lies already. Hehehe.

Will I justify my lying? No, I won’t. It’s not my attitude to justify any mistake I made but there are people who will lie just to justify another lie. Yes, there are such people and others are even close to me. Do I hate them? No, I pity them. But I do hate the attitude. Such people’s tongues must have experienced some major cosmetic plastic surgery just to be capable of performing such lies.

Ok, I did lie and I still do lie from time to time. In fact, I lie so well that I come to a point that I am able to convince myself that the lie is true. Imagine that! But that was before and people change. So my only hope is that people who still lie (and lie to protect another lie) would decide to change and live more truthful lives.

Ok, I’m not trying to pick on any of you Search Engine Marketers but please allow me to ask you one question that’s been bothering me ever since I came into the world of SEO and SEM. It feels kinda strange to me and sometimes I can’t even sleep (Ok that’s exagerrating).

Ok my question is this - why is it that when you guys optimize for certain keywords, it seems like you don’t know how to speak English? What am I talking about? Ok…

In the world of SEO / SEM, link building is an important factor. I do admit that I make money out of these links but why do it like this - Internet marketing San Diego - and not Internet marketing in San Diego. Note the word “in” in my second example? I mean, would an additional “in” affect your rankings? If so, would it affect it that much?

I’m asking this mainly because I find it tough putting such a keyphrase in a sentence especially in paid posts without making the sentence sound ridiculous. I mean, why speak like Tarzan? Me Tarzan, you Jane? Why not do it in proper English?

Anyone care to answer?

Dreaming is free so if you dream, dream big. The mind is the only place in the world where the laws of physics and finances don’t apply. In your dreams you can fly and be the richest man in the world. You can do anything you want and no one will really stop you.

And so I dream… I received a blog comment referring me to a website called Dreaminder (www.dreaminder.com) and no I’m not promoting it but it’s kinda cool so you may want to check it out. Basically, it’s a website wherein your can type your dreams and set a future date. The future date can be years ahead or just days ahead. When that date comes, the site will send you an email reminding you of your dream - thus the name. In Dreaminder, I typed my dream and one of them was to go to the US meet some friends there and have dinner in one of those fine San Diego restaurants. Why San Diego? Dunno, I’m just dreaming here remember….

As for my other dreams, just check keep on visiting this blog and you will see. Of course, the house and lot and that nice car dream are also included… Hehehehe.

Why is it that time pass by so fast? It’s already the 18th of January and I still feel ‘unaccomplished’ for the month. My todo list is still long and I intend to finish them before January ends so I can start with a clean slate starting February.

But what’s keeping me busy? Well old stuff - old projects and such of the year 2006. I need to get rid of them first before I can get started with new stuff. I certainly don’t what the headaches of 2006 bugging me in 2007.

Anyway, slowly but surely, my plans for 2007 are getting clearer and clearer. One of my target accomplishments is to come up with a business portal for cities in the Philippines that works somehow similar to this San Diego Business Listings website. It’s gonna be a personal project with long term goals so this one’s gonna be slow - but first I have to lay down its foundation. I’ve seen many other Filipinos attempt to come up with such a website but somehow, it didn’t gain much popularity nationwide.

On the sidenote… one more thing to do before weekend (actually that’s tomorrow) is to renew my business permits and other stuff related to it. I don’t want to violate any law when it comes to my business so this is a must.

What else??? Other things that will definitely keep me busy all throughout 2007 will be blogging, and building little business empires. I also look forward to learning the ins and outs of affiliate marketing and try to make a decent income from it. Well oh well. Lots of things and I only have 12 11 months to go.

After weeks of waiting - YES WEEKS - our phone is finally back. It stopped working when some thief (or perhaps thieves) stole almost all of the telephone cables in our area rendering about 90% of the phones in the neighborhood useless. It took the phone company (Digitel) weeks to fix all of them and ours was fixed only today.

Well, well… Good work to the Digitel guys. I understand that they couldn’t have done anything to prevent the theft of said telephone cables so the pressure goes to the police and the local law enforcement units (a.k.a. barangay tanods). I just hope that they would do something to prevent this from happening again.

Castle DraculaYep, you got me right. The famous lair of Count Dracula in Transylvania (sounds like Transinnova hehehe) is for sale and it’s being sold for $78 Million US Dollars!

Click here to read more about it.

Have you read the article? (No? You lazy human being… Hehehe) Now, what do I think about this? Well, it would be a cool buy but I agree with Culture Minister Adrian Iorgulescu (go read the article to find out who he is) that the price is indeed too much. And hey, even if it’s sold 1/4 the asking price, I still couldn’t afford it.

I wonder if Kiyosaki or Trump would add the castle to their portfolio. LOL
