Ten Years with Bhe
It’s been ten years since me and my wife got married and it’s been a pretty bumpy ride. Apparently, we weren’t one of those lucky couples who have smooth sailing marriages but still we survived. She stayed with me and I stayed with her and that I think is the most crucial thing in our relationship. It doesn’t matter how many wrongs one has done to the other, what matters is that we choose to stay and love each other.
Through all these ten years, I’ve seen Evelyn or Bhe as I call her change from good to better and better to great. Hopefully, she sees the same in me too (hehehe). Slowly and sometimes stubbornly, we do our best to become not just the better half but the greatest half we could ever have.
We now have three kids – Kei, Vhi and Jae. They also play an important role in keeping our marriage strong. I would be a total hypocrite if I say that our love for each other is the only thing that bonds us because there are times when our love just grows dimmer. In times like that, it is our kids who help us get back. They indeed are the fruits of our most sincere passion for one another.
Here’s a poem that I wrote for her during the early morning hours of our 10th anniversary.

Well, rouge as it may be, I’m sure we’re getting stronger.
HAPPY 10th ANNIVERSARY BHE!
Friendster Blogs now Powered by Wordpress
It’s about time! I have to say that Friendster’s old blogging interface is a pain in the you know where. Today, I got an email from them telling me that they’ve updated their blogging system and so I checked. To my surprise, my Friendster blog now sports the Kubrick theme. I quickly took a look at the admin side and my hunch was correct – their Friendster blogs are now powered by Wordpress!
I have to say that it’s a smart move to integrate Wordpress into Friendster mainly because Wordpress is a tried and tested opensource blogging platform that makes it easy for its users to create blog posts and manage them.
Kudos to Friendster!
